The Visual Social Media Lab is developing a number of different projects. Most of the current projects are part of Picturing the Social, while others are focused on training and capacity building, and further developing the general research concerns of the lab.   • The Death of Thatcher

    Lead researcher: Simon Faulkner. This project is part of the Picturing the Social research. This project focuses on images uploaded to Twitter and FaceBook after the death of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in April 2013.
