1 September 2015 Farida will deliver a session as part of the Interdisciplinary Visual Research Methods course. This course is organised by the White Rose Doctoral Training Centre at The University of Sheffield. It is part of the National Centre for Research Methods training opportunities. 13 July 2015 Francesco delivered a session, ‘Making Sense of Social Data’ as part of The Digital Economy Web Science and Big Data Analytics Summer School, organised by the University of Southampton’s Web Science Centre for Doctoral Training. For more information see full course details.
5 June 2015 Farida delivered an all day course on social media, as part of the WRDTC Advanced Training Series 2015 – Big Data 2: Big Data, Social Media Research Methods And Analytics For Social Science Research. This course was part of the National Centre for Research Methods training opportunities. For more information see the full course details. This course will run again next year.
11 December 2014 and 10 April 2015 Mike delivered two all day courses on ‘Social Media Data Analysis’ at The Cathie Marsh Institute for Social Research at The University of Manchester. These courses focused on teaching students to use the free Webometric Analyst software. For more information see the full course details.
